Active Adult Membership at Dole Center (age 50+): Try lapidary arts, weaving, ceramics and other activities at the Dole Center, run by the Park District of Oak Park. Open to RF residents. $50/year membership fee supports many free classes and other benefits. For more info: visit www.pdop.org/programs/activeadults/.

Oak Park & River Forest Senior Services include:
- Case management
to help seniors get the services they need, including:
individual care planning, service coordination and individual case monitoring
- Transportation Services
, including taxicab coupon booklets and curb-to-curb service on lift-equipped minibuses within Oak Park and River Forest
- Meal Programs,
including a daily group lunch at the senior dining facility, Home-Delivered Meals and a Dine-Out Program.
- Caregiver Support
- Affordable will preparation
- Daily phone checks and monitoring by mail carriers
to help ensure the well being of seniors.
- Application assistance with free public transportation and license plate discounts
- Home energy assistance
- Health screenings
- Assistance in obtaining federal, state and local benefits

Holiday Food and Gift Basket
Meal Programs:
The in-person lunch program described below has been temporarily cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Meals can be picked up or delivered by volunteers. Contact Township Senior Services 708.383.8060.
Township Senior Services has a Senior Lunch Program located on the first floor at 130 S. Oak Park Ave. Lunches are served at 11:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with a suggested contribution of $1.50/meal. All River Forest residents 60 and over are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Transportation to and from the lunch program is available through Senior Services Transportation at 383-4806.
The Township Senior Services Dine Out Program offers seniors the opportunity to enjoy affordable, nutritious lunches or dinners at specified local restaurants. Coupons for this program can be obtained at the Township Senior Lunch Program on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00-11:00 AM for a suggested donation of $3.50.
