Seeking new Township Clerk - Paid Part-Time Position

River Forest Township is seeking a River Forest resident to fill an upcoming vacancy as the Township Clerk working an average of 5 hours per week. The Clerk works 2 hours/week in the office, attends Tuesday evening Board meetings once a month, plus works from home or in the community for the remaining hours. Seeking two new Members for the Youth and Family Services Committee

River Forest Township is seeking two River Forest residents to fill vacancies on the volunteer Youth and Family Services Committee (YFS). The YFS provides input to developing and funding local programming a variety of activities and services directly impacting the youth and families of Oak Park and River Forest. The Committee meets the first Wednesday of each month. If interested in serving as a River Forest volunteer, please email [email protected].

We rely on citizen volunteers to advise on needs and funding priorities and to help with youth, family, mental health and senior services. Your gift of time, talent and service can make a real difference in the lives of neighbors in need. Township Committee Members are volunteers who are registered voters appointed by the Township Trustees to serve three-year terms.
