Girls on the Rise
Girls On The Rise is a unique and innovative program designed for girls of color in grades 3-12.
Girls On The Rise is a custom curriculum program that focuses on helping girls build leadership skills that include self-reflection, critical thinking, sound decision making, goal setting, clear communication and personal accountability. As a result, girls will develop an accurate sense of who they are, and the magic they possess.
The goal of the program is to empower girls and to provide them with the tools to celebrate their cultural heritage, enhance self-awareness, and build leadership skills.
Girls on the rise is available for free to those who attend Lincoln & Willard Elementary Schools, Roosevelt Middle School, OPRF High School, as well as Oak Park Middle Schools.
